Congratulations to Aaron Arefe, co-star of 13 Months of Sunshine, for his celebrated and acclaimed work in the Ethiopian film Teza, as well as his continued growth as an actor and artist. Aaron has announced plans to work on his own film beginning March 2009, entitled Miles from the Heart.

The movie will be one that chronicles the life of a man who got everything he wished through any means possible. It features the main character entering into bad deals and latter going through serious difficulties as all the bad things he did haunt him.

Vagabond Production, the LA-based film company Aron established in September 2008, will produce the movie, which will be the owner’s first writing and production. Aron, 28, lived most of his life in LA.

“We established the company for the production of our movie,” he said. “Hopefully, we will work on other movies once we are done with this one.”

“Yehdego Abeselom, director of 13 Months of Sunshine, was my roommate in campus and that might have had an impact on what I am doing now,” he explained.
